                                                                      Hi! My name is June, and I'm the creator of Bohemian                                                                      Beads Australia. In 2014, I started an online jewellery                                                                      shop named Gypsy Jewels Australia. After 3 years of                                                                                  running it, I decided to close it down, before moving                                                                             from Sydney to Brisbane. While I thought this path has                                                                       ended back then, out of the blue, I felt a strong call and                                                                        inspiration to rebirth this business. This second time                                                                         round, instead of selling jewellery made by others I'm                                                                        designing and handcrafting each piece of jewellery by                                                                      myself! I handpick all the raw materials and weave my love,                                                intention and ritual in order to create each, unique piece.

My inspiration comes from my culture background (Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom and now Australia), my love of travelling, and also from my dreamtime experiences. I'm a Yoga/Pilates/Barre teacher and Sound Healer by trade, and the nature of my occupation involves a lot of energy work. I believe that each bead, gemstone, crystal and jewel has its own energy and vibration. After finishing a piece, I smudge each, new item to cleanse all energies before it gets shipped to its new owner.

​I use fine seed beads from Czech Republic. I also mix beads made from ceramic and porcelain, lampwork glasses, freshwater pearls, semi-precious gemstones, crystals and sterling silver in my collections. 

I have always been a gal with colourful bracelets and a happy smile. I hope that my creations will bring colours and joyfulness to your life too.
